Life Education - Nicole #2

Today the year sevens went to life education with Nicole again, at the begging of the lesson. Nicole played two games with us, one was a game called speed clap. If you are wondering whats that, here is your answer. there at least have to be three people or more, then one person has to be the caller. The caller has to say any number up to 50 or more, next the clappers/players have to clap pretty fast together to the number that the caller says. If you get out of rhythm or clap the wrong number and the caller hears and sees which person done it then they are disqualified.

The other game that we played is similar to heads down thumbs up, but instead of voting for who touched your thumb you have to look at a person who is not looking at you. if you do look at someone who is looking at you then your eliminated. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that people don't touch your thumbs, someone just has to count down from three and then you play.

Life Education - Nicole

Today the year seven's went to the caravan doing life education, with our teacher Nicole. We learnt about some of our body systems, our nerves, brain and circulatory. Learning today with Nicole was very interesting, she tort us about the very important details/body parts in our bodies.

Story Starters: Writing

This is my narrative on Story Starters, I like this website because it spins and picks your topic for yourself randomly. This is good to practice your writing skills, by doing narratives. As this site picked my topic I had to write a narrative and draw a picture, of the main thing.

Ski Trip DLO

Here is my reading DLO as you can see, For this DLO we we´re learning about PROVERBS. I think that this is a very interesting task because of the fun and cool ways you say wise things that really mean something. E.g See a pin and pick it up, all day you´ll have good luck. See a pin and let it lie, bad luck you´ll have all day.

Speech - Walking To Places, Alone

Speech

Kia OrĂ¡ and good afternoon/good morning PBS , teachers and all juniors and seniors. My name is Cyrus for all of you who don’t know, have you ever walked in the night alone when it was so dark and you we´re so scared and frightened. Well if you have, that must have been really tough.

For instance let’s say a kid probably like our smiley year 3’s age, brave and young but horrified walking alone to the shop or their aunts to get some things because his/her mum said ¨ Hurry up, do you want a smack go shop/aunties NOW¨, or something like that

Do you get it? Listen real carefully to my words or, you will face the ultimate price or the con,se,quen, ces. Here are some tips, if your mum or dad says to hurry up and buy some milk or anything like that, try talking and explaining to them about what might happen. But if your parents don't listen, don't go. If you get a bash it will be better than getting kidnapped or you know what I mean.

But you would not imagine what might be out there at night, probably gangs,  muggers, robbers and all that violence. So always have a parent if she or he comes, or just don’t go. Do it in the morning. Be safer around at night.

Thanks for listening and remember what I said. Do it, see it and remember it. Catch yous next time.

Here is my speech, Harlem Sajiha, Cecilia, Jessie and I worked in groups to present our speech in that small group. This is so that we can feel more confident. As you can see the topic that I chose is walking to places, alone.
