This is my reading task, character analysis. My story is When I grow up, I had to write words that would fit in sentences that are in through out the story.

Word Clines Challenge

This is my word cline for today it is one of my can do choices, I chose this because it seemed interesting to do. It was interesting to find out new words, you can learn lots from this challenge. 

Can Do - Story Scavenger Hunt

This is my can do and as you can see Oh hsen and I chose to do story scavenger hunt, the book that we we´re reading was dust which was about curing a bird. The care takers found the baby sparrow and feed it worms and seeds.

Should NZ Change The Flag?

Today LS2 had to vote about if we wanted to keep our current flag or not, we made a T chart and wrote reasons on both sides saying either why we wanted it and why to keep it. When our group split up for 2 minutes  we got our ideas independently and gathered them up with our thinking groups. In 5 minutes  (when we wrote our ideas) we sat on the mat, and had to share our some of our reasons  

Can Do

Today OH hsen, Rodney and I have completed our can do, which is the story map challenge. Our story pick is when I grow up, we had to write our script about what we are going to say when we record our voices heres the Link.

Performing at Assembly

This was my first time going up on stage, I was very nervous. But I got through with it by looking at the back door instead of the students, when I said "our manaiakalani leaders will now speak to us" it was hard for me to pronounce manaiakalani which made it a little embarrassing.

Science - Oobleck

For our third activity/project for science was Oobleck, it is made with corn flower and water you cn use food coloring if you want. first step/task is to pour four table spoons in once you have done that you need to make a circle in the middle. Then you also have to pour a little bit of water/food coloring in at a time while mixing then it start to get hard, once you think its ready you can dab on it which feels like a solid but if you pick it up it drips which means it could also be a solid. If you just gently place
 your fingers or finger in it sinks your finger/fingers in (like quicksand).

Why - As dawn comes upon the tall man leaped over the log in the village, in his haste to get home.

As dawn comes upon us, the tall man he leaped over the log in the village, in his haste to get home.

This is my stretch sentence's, it started of with just the tall man leaped. Then I expanded it to a more interesting story.
