Hover Bike DLO

For this DLO, Juanita and I worked on this poster. Do you know those commercials with thee Nutribullet and Power Fit and all those ads.  Well if you do, that would help to understand this post. We are doing a poster like the advertisers but without a video, the purpose of this DLO was to sell a product. 

Reading To Room 3/4

Today, LS2 had to select a student from room three or room four, as a partner to read a book that they choose. We had to read the book that they wanted to read, LS2 students helped them to get better for reading so that they can stop reading like a robot. This for us is to collaborate with others even more, Also to help us get better at questioning with writers and writing.

Ski Trip DLO

Here is my reading DLO as you can see, For this DLO we we´re learning about PROVERBS. I think that this is a very interesting task because of the fun and cool ways you say wise things that really mean something. E.g See a pin and pick it up, all day you´ll have good luck. See a pin and let it lie, bad luck you´ll have all day.

The 6 Hats Activity

This is my DLO on Charlotte Anne, as you already know I used the six hats for this activity. My work buddy was Oh Hsen, I really enjoyed this activity because synthesizing is really important. We both had to synthesiz and learn about pioneers. It was interesting because we had to write one while paragraph for each thinking hat.

Word Clines - Can Do's

Here is another can do that I did, my can do choice was a word cline. As you can see the word that I chose was the word cold, my task was to find out more interesting words as I go up each box. Which means each box should have stronger meanings that increase in intensity and interest.

This is my reading task, character analysis. My story is When I grow up, I had to write words that would fit in sentences that are in through out the story.

This is my word cline for today it is one of my can do choices, I chose this because it seemed interesting to do. It was interesting to find out new words, you can learn lots from this challenge. 

Can Do - Story Scavenger Hunt

This is my can do and as you can see Oh hsen and I chose to do story scavenger hunt, the book that we we´re reading was dust which was about curing a bird. The care takers found the baby sparrow and feed it worms and seeds.

Today OH hsen, Rodney and I have completed our can do, which is the story map challenge. Our story pick is when I grow up, we had to write our script about what we are going to say when we record our voices heres the Link.

This is our Smart Searching poster, as you can see we searched up blue sky and sky blue it came up with totally different website's.

Word Study Challenge

Today Sylis and I done our can do task (Word Study Challenge), we had to find a interesting word from our book and write the meaning in our own words. Then we had to search up a image that is related to that word, along with it we also had to write a synonym for that word and a interesting sentence about it.

Reading Group Tasks

Today Captain Underpants worked on a book called Unsolved Mysterious. We had to read the book until page 5 then we had to scan for difficulty words or sentence that we were unsure of, then we had to discuss it with the our partner next to us about it. Once we have done that we had to go to our tables and then read the rest  of the book. Then we had to talk about what words we were unsure of and then we all (as a reading group) had to find out what the definition is of that word for example. (Important, Important is a urgent word that is usually used for injuries and sometimes damages to network. Once we all have agreed our discussion we had to go onto the real time board website to make notes for the information.
