Speech - Walking To Places, Alone

Speech

Kia OrĂ¡ and good afternoon/good morning PBS , teachers and all juniors and seniors. My name is Cyrus for all of you who don’t know, have you ever walked in the night alone when it was so dark and you we´re so scared and frightened. Well if you have, that must have been really tough.

For instance let’s say a kid probably like our smiley year 3’s age, brave and young but horrified walking alone to the shop or their aunts to get some things because his/her mum said ¨ Hurry up, do you want a smack go shop/aunties NOW¨, or something like that

Do you get it? Listen real carefully to my words or, you will face the ultimate price or the con,se,quen, ces. Here are some tips, if your mum or dad says to hurry up and buy some milk or anything like that, try talking and explaining to them about what might happen. But if your parents don't listen, don't go. If you get a bash it will be better than getting kidnapped or you know what I mean.

But you would not imagine what might be out there at night, probably gangs,  muggers, robbers and all that violence. So always have a parent if she or he comes, or just don’t go. Do it in the morning. Be safer around at night.

Thanks for listening and remember what I said. Do it, see it and remember it. Catch yous next time.

Here is my speech, Harlem Sajiha, Cecilia, Jessie and I worked in groups to present our speech in that small group. This is so that we can feel more confident. As you can see the topic that I chose is walking to places, alone.

Virtual Tour Of Thailand

This is my photo collage, if you can guess these photo's are from Thailand. Also if you are wondering whats all those links or writing on the images, they are the links to the photos, and inference or references on the images. The writing (In Black) is the author who took the photo and who owns it, these are not just random photos picked from google images from Thailand. If you know you need permission for photos then here is a walk through tip for you, type in what you want in google images. and just under the search bar you would see some word's with arrows beside it, on the last one it would say search tools. click that and it would come with more words and arrows beside it, then you would see search rights click that and it should come up wit things like labeled. click the one with labels for reuse. It will come up with things that you are allowed to use.

Math's DLO

This is my DLO on the Doubling and Halving strategy, this is a really interesting strategy to use in maths. Ms D's group and I all had a lot of equations, that Ms Donaldson gave us to solve out using this strategy and of course to answer. Then we had to make a DLO which I have already done, an then we had to publish it on our blog which I have also done.

The 6 Hats Activity

This is my DLO on Charlotte Anne, as you already know I used the six hats for this activity. My work buddy was Oh Hsen, I really enjoyed this activity because synthesizing is really important. We both had to synthesiz and learn about pioneers. It was interesting because we had to write one while paragraph for each thinking hat.

Writing Narrative

Image result for converse shoes photography

Lonely, lonely, lonely shoe thrown in a bin abandoned in an alleyway”. A lonely shoe hearing cars ZOOM past, going so fast. The lonely shoe relished on some rubbish. That lonely shoe having nothing else to eat. Socking wet, as rain filled the bottom of the inside of me. Lonely shoe having nothing to see, black all around no way no how to flee.

This is my writing shoe narrative, if you have already read it. It tells you about a lonely shoe, and how it is in its life. This task was writing by Lyndon and I, first we had to do our planning - Smell, See, Feel, Hear and Ideas. These are what me and Lyndon used for our, when we finished we had to use one device and had to go back to back. We had 15 minutes to each write a story to go long.

Word Clines - Can Do's

Here is another can do that I did, my can do choice was a word cline. As you can see the word that I chose was the word cold, my task was to find out more interesting words as I go up each box. Which means each box should have stronger meanings that increase in intensity and interest.

Asia Mapping Task

This is my Mapping task, as you can see I was searching/mapping about Thailand. Did you know that Bangkok is 9757.73 km away from New Zealand, it is known that Thailand is in the north hemisphere.
